Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the degrees of multidimensional anxiety and the evaluation of the research sample players for some offensive and defensive basketball skills according to the F.I.S statistical program, and to identify the nature of the relationship between multidimensional anxiety and the study sample's performance in those skills. To achieve this, the researcher used the descriptive research approach using the survey method and case study, and after steps to prepare appropriate measurement tools to achieve the planned objectives and rely on the results of the performance evaluation of Al-Hilla Basketball Club in the Premier League according to the F.I.S program, and process the data using appropriate statistical parameters. The research came out with a set of conclusions, including a decrease in multidimensional anxiety among the players. Among the most important recommendations is to emphasize the importance of studying multidimensional anxiety as a personal condition whose responses affect the athlete and to determine the dimension affecting performance.
